Blueberry Wood

I can see in my mind once upon a time
as a boy with my brother my aunt and my mother
we went into the blueberry wood

Up on a hill where the trees stood still
the sun shone through on a ground so blue
and I run into my own childhood

The picture's so clear we where afraid of the bear
'cause his berries we ate there in the autumn heat
how much we understood in the blueberry wood

MEL

I've gone through some change and learnin' how to arrange
to be so cool and do good at school
but I'll remain in the hood of the blueberry wood

I regret that I can't remember all the chants
I sang as a child being free and wild
as we were runnin' through the blueberry wood

I can see in my mind once upon a time
as a boy with my brother my aunt and my mother
we went into the blueberry wood

Yes there we stood in the blueberry wood
